HPTO Holiday Wrap

Each year the Hilltop Parent Teacher Organization collects holiday gifts for families in need.  Pack 311 holds a holiday wrap-up party and the scouts wrap the gifts for the HPTO.

Committee Chairman

The Committee Chair is responsible for recruiting and filling all Committe positions. They work with the Cubmaster to establish Pack operational policies and future requirements as well as goals.  They run the Committee meeting and assists the Cubmaster in resolving disciplinary problems or personal conflicts.  He/She is responsible, along with a chartered organizaion representative, to conduct background checks on potential leaders.  When required, instutes the search for a new Cubmaster.  Encourages Committee members to get training for their Committee positions.  This individual is the Committee equivalent of a Cubmaster, he/she is the glue that holds the rest of it together! This person should have good organizational and people skills.

Clean-Up Project

As a pack we frequently do grounds clean-up for facilities we use (Hilltop, Zion Lutheran Church).  Please dress appropriately for the weather. Please bring with you any appropriate trash-picking equipment and gloves. The Pack will also provide trash bags. If you have any of your own trash grabber, please bring it with you!

Plastic Bottle Caps

Please remember to bring in your old plastic bottle caps to the Pack meetings.

Any bottle cap that is plastic and has threads on it can be recycled through Aveda. Aveda then uses the recycled plastic for the caps on their product bottles. This reduces waste in the landfills. It also saves the animals that can choke on the caps.

This is a simple way to get your son involved in recycling. If you have questions about the program please email Renee Mac Laren at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
